The Sky Rules Us

Diane, the goddess, uses her censer to calm down her dragon friend, the only way for her to ride it. And what a dragon she rides! A dragon with hairy scales! This time, I made a fantastic picture, with also a roman feeling to it, of course, but not realistic, as you can imagine… No crazy background, this time, just a lot of work on the colouring, based on: one line, 5 minutes on irc. Two more lines, another 5 minutes on irc… I’m so lazy ^^;

EDIT: Just some precisions about the dragon. It is inspired (but not copyed, it's more like a fanart, this one would be a cousin :XD: ) from the dragon of as I said on the lineart of it, I just wanted to make it clear, go visit her, she's amazing :) if you like dragon's, you won't regret it.

It's so beautifully done!! The details are simply blinding, it's superb!! :heart::heart: The dragon looks so gentle and soft to settle on, and thegirl, wow!! :worship:

Beautiful!

And reptiles are closely related to birds anyway - some researchers think that even some dinosaurs had feathers - so a dragon with feathers is not a huge stretch...

Agreed. I also looked at pictures of Archeopteryx to get some inspiration for this dragon (the first of the birds, more like a reptile with feather... ). Aniway, the original idea of doing a dragon with feathers is from =nicole1725 she rules with her dragon's :)

Trop trop cool! le bleu est vraiment super, et la composition d'ensemble est bien vue...
(elle a les cheveux blancs, comme par hasard!!!!!!!!!!)
la texture du dragon est vraiment bien rendue! (gne veux faire un calin à la grosse peluche ^_^)

au passage, j'adore sa tunique, elle l'a achetée où? XD
