Sarmizegetusa is the old capital of Dacia, a roman province, actual Romenia. Kaïn Tissierus is a legionnair that will fight on the Roman Army (Legion) during the Dacic Wars that took place between 100 ~106 A-D
On this pic, I triyed to be the most accurate that I can historically speaking. His weapon on the right hand is a Falcata, an Iberic sword, plus is traditional Gladius. They didn't use the falcata this way, okay? His Cigilum (the belt with the "decorations" that fall from it) is a simple one. About the "Murus Dacicus" thing. Simply the architectonic style from Dacia. This is a fortress, so I couldn't draw as much details as I wanted to draw... Because of that, I've added some more things, like the torchs, for example. I'm not quite happy with this pic, It seems to me that it lack something... And sorry about this sky x__x I simply don't have the skills to do better  About the hair: well, I think I'm improving that part of my way of drawing, it's not quite it, but I'm getting nearer. maybe what you feel is lacking is his sense of being?
What I mean is, he's in the frame, he's moving, but you can't really be sure why. Like, why isn't he just sitting on those steps over there? Or leaning against the wall? Those are just examples, but you know what I mean. This is just food for thought. The entire thing is still nothing short of amazing. Don't be so critical of yourself! ^^

I do agree with augustc4 about the sense of what he is doing. I think part of it has to be the angle of the sword. It is at a very awkward angle and creates a very strange pose, which I think throws off the image. If the sword is going to be at that position it would probably best if his had is turned around. If he is going to hold the sword that way then it needs to be more horizontal. 90% of the time, when a sword or knife is being held that way the motion used is a horizontal swing, like a right hook punch, where the weapon kinda follows the hand or and upper cut type swing and the arm is normally bent. I can't think of good reason why he would be holding his weapon like that. And I think that maybe the source of your problem.
Regardless of anything I've said, this image is absolutely amazing. You've got a huge amount of talent, and I can't wait to see more from you.

Pour le ciel, ben moi je le trouve pas si mal que ça. Peut-être qu'il est un peu uniforme concernant la taille des nuages, qui ont tous l'ait très fin, un peu comme si on les avait déchirés. Mais après tout pourquoi pas, ça peut correspondre à un climat particulier.
En tout cas j'aime beaucoup le personnage, et les cheveux sont très réussis. Pour le décor, il a plus de profondeur que dans d'autres de tes dessins où j'avais l'impression qu'on ne sentait pas qu'il y avait différents plans. Ici, à part le sol qui aurait pu être plus travaillé, on sent bien la perspective.
